Health Education Program
Our Health Promotion department is dedicated to promoting health and preventing disease and injury in our community. Our goals are to increase knowledge about health risks in order to promote behavior changes, changes in policies and changes in the environment that will encourage local citizens to make healthier lifestyle choices. Topics with a special focus include: Alcohol and Substance Use Disorder; Mental Health and/or Intentional Self-Harm/Suicide Prevention; Obesity; Smoking Cessation; and Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less.
