October 21st, 2025, Public Notice
The 2025 Community Health Assessment (CHA) process is complete, and Healthy Alexandrians, a collaborative group under ACHD, proudly announces two community-identified priority areas: Mental Health and Healthy Living.
This announcement follows an extensive, months-long assessment process involving more than 1,000 survey participants, community focus groups, and collaborative input from dozens of local organizations, community leaders and individuals who care about the future of Alexander County. Every four years, Healthy Alexandrians leads the assessment process to better understand the strengths and challenges across the county that impact health.
The final Community Health Assessment report will be published in 2026 and widely shared through community partners, local leaders, digital platforms and outreach efforts to ensure residents across Alexander County are informed and engaged. These two priorities will guide planning, funding, and collaborative action over the next four years.
